Prayer is a big part of my life. It's the first thing I do each waking day. The last thing I do when my night winds down. And the one thing I do throughout my day, I talk to God and pray, after all, without Him, I am absolutely nothing.

I wouldn't say my day is routine because it really varies from day to day. But one thing I auto-do each morning is read. I read my bible—whether it's 1 minute or 1 hour, depending on how much time I have, I dedicate time for that. I also carry a book or two—thank you Amazon—everywhere I go because I enjoy reading that much.

Has anyone ever told you: if you want something bad enough, expect it and believe that it is yours, and it becomes yours? I believe that wholeheartedly. Every single day, usually throughout my morning, I take time out of my day to mediate. I think about my goals, my desires, and all of the things I want out of life—whether it be about my career, my finances, my love life, my health; I mediate on it all and I visualize having it all.

Then I write. I have hardcover journals throughout  my home, in my purse, even in my car. I write everything down, from to-do lists and inspirational quotes to aspiring goals and things I want. Recently, I even sat down and wrote a manifesto for myself and about myself. I cannot tell you how awesome that felt. Think it, see it, write it, and it shall be yours.

Working out for me, isn't something I enjoy; no sugar coating here. I love to eat, so I workout that's the truth. But I love being healthy too. Staying fit is something I promised myself I would do, not just for me, but for my kids and grandkids. It's those sacrifices—you know the ones that take over your body and make you second-guess yourself—that push you to your limit. I have days when I don't want to go to the gym, but it's those exact days that make me feel so accomplished once I do.

This is something I do every single morning and every single night. I don't care how early or how late it is, I take care of my skin. I never go to bed with makeup on my face. In fact, even on days when I don't wear makeup, I still wash & exfoliate, tone and moisturize. And as I get older, I thank myself for this.

Not a day goes by that I don't talk to my kids, whether it's through a text message, phone calls, coffee on-the-run or Sunday dinner at home, no matter what the circumstance, we talk everyday. My boys stay super busy, if they're not traveling, they're on the go with their business. We pretty much all have our own busy lives; but we stay close.

...and as their mom, it's my job to make sure of that!
