I love to recycle old things. And when I see something new, sometimes a little upcycling hits the brain; that's how my mind works. If you're anything like me, you've probably asked yourself what's the difference between recycling and upcycling.
Well, a little and a lot.
To recycle means to take something of no value, or what some would consider trash, and make it reusable again.
To upcycle means you reuse things that are not necessarily considered trash, to create a product of a higher quality or value than the original.
With that said, below you will find my recycled beauty; an old whiskey bottle my son gave me, which by the way is really big and the picture gives it no justice. Nevertheless, I hope I've inspired you to make something old, into something new again—before you throw it out.
