There is a gospel song by the Winans called Tomorrow. In its lyrics, you will find a moving verse that is very powerful:
“Tomorrow, who promised you tomorrow?
Better choose the Lord today, for tomorrow very well might be too late.”
Philippians 4:13 tells me "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." When life hits hard, with the unexpected, give it to God. Pray and work hard to change your disposition. Don't wait for tomorrow to see what magically happens. Life isn't that easy!
But no matter how bad it seems, God is able to turn our situation around for His good. For His purpose. For His glory! All we have to do is stay faithful and watch Him work miracles in our lives.
The bible does not promise God will give us everything we want, when we want it. It clearly says—anything we ask according to HIS WILL; not mine, not yours, but His.
Maybe He didn’t give you that fancy job you were praying for because He knew you wouldn’t be happy. Maybe the relationship you’ve been praying for isn't right for you and He knows—even if you can't see it yet—it will cause you pain and unhappiness. Maybe He didn't give you the house you wanted because He has a HOME that is bigger and more worthy for you and your family.
Trust His will. He is a merciful, wonderful, BIG God who has better things in store for us; more than we can ever imagine.
However, we will never bloom until we allow the light in—by allowing Him to do His work.
God is always present in our lives and on those days where he seems distant, He's not, He's sitting quietly watching our every move. He knows our destiny, he merely wants to see what we will do with our free-will.
When we do what is right, all good things fall into place. Things that are inconceivable to us, are conceivable to Him. He made each and every one of us. He knows us better than we know ourselves. He knows what we are capable of doing; what we can handle. He knows what we need; and what we deserve. HE LOVES US.
We live in a world that is crumbling, more and more, every single day. What do you have to lose? Let go and let GOD, then see what happens.
...don't wait for tomorrow, for tomorrow very well might be too late.
