I'm not sure what it is about a car ride that makes me think but today I got to thinking about people and some of the mean, nasty words they say.
WORDS ARE EXTREMELY POWERFUL! The good and the bad.
Sometimes they're so amazing, they melt the heart. Other times, however, they pierce so deep, they cut like a knife.
My grandma used to say: "People tell you the truth when they're drunk and when they're angry." True or not it holds some validity.
When people get angry they tend to say some of the most horrific things imaginable. Words, good or bad, will hold the most power over you when the dust has settled. Make sure you are fully aware of your actions, as you perform, because once the show is over, it's done.
People may forget what you did, but they will never forget how you made them feel, and the things you said.
Make certain of this, for every action, there is a consequence. And if it's a negative impact, in the end you lose—as any decent human being with a conscious typically does.
You lose respect. You lose honor. Sometimes you lose family. You lose good friends. You lose the most precious things, and people, God bestowed on you as blessings. When you let anger control your emotions, you lose.
What is the one thing that makes you unattractive?
A vile, degrading mouth.
