What better way to enjoy a weekend, especially when it's a rainy, fall day, than with my favorite cookie recipe.
Here's what you'll need:
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 egg yolk
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Here's how you'll do it:
Preheat oven to 325°
Combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
In a medium bowl, cream together melted butter, brown sugar and white sugar.
Add vanilla, egg, and egg yolk until light and creamy.
Pour in the flour, baking soda and salt combo until blended.
Stir in the chocolate chips by hand.
Drop 2" balls onto a greased cookie sheet.
Bake 15-17 minutes
