Let's cut right to the chase! If you are a millennial female, you can pretty much get away with wearing anything—not saying that is a good thing, but society has spoken, so wear it while you can—little ones.
But for you Gen-Xer's—raising hand—not so fast! As much as we love the next best thing, a woman in her 40's cannot get away with clothes that only a 28 year should be wearing. With that said, I—a Gen-X baby—had to pick a side. So I got to thinking of the sides that make ME—me! Here is who I am, in no particular order, five ways:
TOMBOY-STYLE CHIC: This is me when I'm in the mood for a leather jacket, a vintage tee, denim jeans and booties. Or a hidden men's tie on my chest. (hence photo) Classy-tough.
ELEGANT, TIMELESS, CLASSY: This is me when I'm craving sophistication, classic jewels, and a sexy up-do. Cinderella-syndrome
STYLISH, MODERN, HIP: This is me, most days, when I'm feeling young and full of life. Ripped jeans, a beautiful sheer blouse, a blazer and a gorgeous pair of heels. Hipster-style
CASUAL-DAY LOUNGE: This is me, when I have a day off, with nothing to do but lounge around in baggy sweats and an oversized t-shirt. Lazy-chic
HOMELESS AT-HOME: I love oxymorons. This is me, when I simply don't care. The most productive thing I do on these days is brush my teeth and wash my face. Rarely seen by anyone outside my family—I don't have many days like these—but they do exist. Bum-day beauty
As a woman, when it comes to style, WHO ARE YOU?
